Requirements

  • Contract to Hire permanent position

Location: Tigard, OR

Pay: $70,000 to start DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and production standards
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
  • Support new product introductions and process validations
  • Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing workflows
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
  • Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements
  • Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards

What You Need to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Experience supporting production environments
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Process improvement experience
  • Experience supporting production and manufacturing teams
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Engineering
