Job Title
The role involves cleaning and staging a shipping area with finished products initially for 2-4 days. Following this, the role will include mechanical operations such as measuring, bending/cutting, and assembling final piping products. The position also involves material handling and part picking.
Responsibilities- Clean and stage the shipping area with finished products.
- Perform mechanical operations like measuring, bending, cutting, and assembling piping products.
- Handle materials and pick parts as required.
- Utilize grinding and deburring techniques.
- Operate machines and perform general production tasks.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and hammers.
- Production and manufacturing experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Intelligent and quick problem-solving abilities.
- Skills in blueprint reading and understanding.
- General labor and mechanical experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is very clean, located next to a cleanroom and features a non-machine shop setting with a tile floor. You will be working in a smaller room equipped with grinding and polishing equipment for fabricated metal components.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.20/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
