Corn Utility 3rd shift Machine Op - Portland

Position Summary

The Utility Machine Operator fills in for vacation/absenteeism and must be able to operate all machines in the department. The starting pay is $23.70 per hour with a shift increase for second and third shift.

• Operate machinery and maintain machine settings and product specifications.
• Document machine setting, weights, and other data on paper and electronically.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment as needed and communicate issues to lead and supervisor.
• Keep a legible and accurate record and enter data into a computer‑based system.
• Perform any other work assigned by supervisor.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of rotation if applicable.
• Operate a Power Industrial Truck and use/read scales and thermometers.
• Perform basic math functions using calculator.

• Have at least 3 months of operator or manufacturing experience listed in work history or skills.
• Have a total of 6 months of work history in the past 12 months.
• Must not have been terminated from a previous employer for attendance or job abandonment.
• Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs. frequently, walk, bend, and stand; must be able to flex/grip with wrists/hands.
