Job Description

This role focuses on building high-quality electronic assemblies for automatic balancing systems and precision measurement sensors. You will assemble and solder electronic components, printed circuit boards, and wiring while following detailed drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure reliable and accurate products.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic components, printed circuit boards, and wiring into complete electronic assemblies for automatic balancing systems and precision measurement sensors.
  • Perform precise soldering on electronic components, printed circuit boards, and wires to create reliable electrical connections.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions to correctly assemble and wire electronic products.
  • Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively to complete electronic assemblies.
  • Inspect assemblies during and after production to verify correct component placement, solder quality, and overall workmanship.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards to maintain consistency and product reliability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe, efficient, and high‑tech manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly or wiring issues and improve processes where possible.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in soldering electronic components, printed circuit boards, and wires.
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic assembly in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Skill in using hand tools and basic assembly equipment for electronic manufacturing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate, and reliable solder joints.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination for precision electronic work.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Lead‑free soldering experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with automatic balancing systems or precision measurement sensors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with high‑tech electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to follow standardized manufacturing processes and quality procedures.
  • Strong focus on workmanship, cleanliness, and organization in assembly tasks.

Environment

This is a day‑shift position, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The facility is a clean, quiet, high‑tech electronics manufacturing environment located in a new building. You will work in a modern, organized production area designed for precision electronic assembly, with appropriate tools and equipment to support detailed soldering and assembly work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
