Overview
The Coca-Cola Company is hiring a Production Operator in our flagship North America market. This role supports manufacturing activities in alignment with the company’s standards and quality guidelines to produce high-quality products.
Responsibilities- Operate filling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top-quality products.
- Perform proper and accurate product, package, and code changes.
- Maintain equipment per manufacturer and internal specifications, including completing preventive maintenance (PMs), initiating work orders, and coordinating with the maintenance team during rebuilds and repairs.
- Perform CIP/COP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for applicable areas.
- Report and address safety issues; maintain safe conditions of equipment and surroundings.
- Conduct quality inspections on materials and finished products, including checks of codes, seals, and weights; notify appropriate personnel if out-of-spec conditions are observed and assist in resolution.
- Follow procedures for isolating hold product or defective material.
- Document all shift activities accurately.
- Comply with standard safety practices, GMP, and company policies (CCNA).
- Perform other duties and special assignments as requested by management.
- Education:
High School, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent. - Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
- Experience operating multiple types of production line equipment is preferred.
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this opportunity.
- Location:
United States – Portland area (travel up to 25% may be required). - Pay range: USD 64,292 – 66,000 base pay; varies with geography, experience, and skills.
