We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is primarily responsible for operating NC Press Brake to produce high-quality stainless-steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
The ideal candidate will also assist with a variety of fabrication tasks, including operating a manual shear, rolling machine, drill press, and metal cutting saws.
- Set up and operate NC press brake equipment to form stainless steel sheet metal components.
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
- Measure, mark, and lay out cuts and bends on metal materials accurately.
- Operate a manual shear machine to cut metal to required dimensions.
- Use hand and power tools, including angle grinders and deburring tools, to finish fabricated parts.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as: metal rolling machines, drill presses, large band saws and/or cold saws, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Perform basic machine setup, tooling changes, and routine equipment maintenance.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, or press brake operation. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Strong understanding of measurement tools, including tape measures, calipers, squares, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Experience measuring, marking, and laying out material for fabrication.
- Ability to safely operate fabrication and metalworking equipment.
- Experience using hand and power tools, including angle grinders.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with stainless steel sheet metal.
- Experience setting up and operating NC or CNC press brakes.
- Forklift certification or experience (if applicable).
- Knowledge of fabrication best practices and quality inspection methods.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift materials.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
- Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves, and enhanced PPE as required by the task or work area.
- Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment with frequent exposure to metal dust, noise, moving equipment, and fabrication processes.
- Work primarily involves stainless steel sheet metal fabrication.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements is essential.
