Summary:

Work is guided by diverse procedures and technical methods of varying complexity. Decisions and actions may impact beyond the immediate work unit. Works under general supervision and may be asked to work on other products in the cleanroom to meet customer needs. May provide functional guidance to others and train new employees. Travel to off-site training may be required.

• Follow work instructions to manually assemble mechanical builds.
• Perform limited in-process function testing of products.
• Perform in-process visual inspections of components to identify issues prior to installation.
• Assist with inventory audits of the area and line setups as needed.

• Prior mechanical assembly experience is required.
• Prior experience using calibrated torque tools required.
• High level of detail and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process and work with supervision/engineering to address them.
• Effective communication within the team.
• Ability to work with the team and lead to high quality production within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and documentation control systems.
• Understanding of cleanroom protocols preferred.

• ISO 5 Cleanroom environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, machinery.
• Full bunny suit required to enter.
• Periodic light physical effort including repetitive motions, manual dexterity, and sustained concentration in confined spaces.
• Periodic heavy manual effort including lifting.
• Extended visual concentration on documentation and assemblies.
• Work within health and safety guidelines.

• Two to three years of relevant experience.

• High school diploma and additional courses or equivalent education/experience; commitment to further education. Educational requirements may vary by geography.
