Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Engineer analyst (Mfg Industrial Engrg)
Location: Portland, Oregon 97230
Duration: 12 Months
Shifts: 1st shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, and utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve the flow of products and people throughout the site. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self‑starter and a collaborative team player.
The business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.
- Industrial engineer supporting factory operations.
- Capacity planning, forecasting for staffing, recovery planning, analytics, and time studies.
- Data analysis
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with work measurement
- Problem solving including root cause analysis
- Manufacturing experience
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field. 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment. 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
