Medical Device Production Operator 1st Shift

Location:

Portland, OR Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Shift: Monday Thursday | 4:00 AM 2:30 PM (4x10 Schedule) Join a leading medical device manufacturer and help build life-saving products in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with assembly, manufacturing, production, or medical device experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and components.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform quality inspections and maintain accurate production records.
  • Handle small parts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Use computers and electronic systems for data entry and documentation.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Required Skills
  • Manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Comfortable working with small components.
  • Basic computer skills.

    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Work Environment
  • Cleanroom/medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Working with small, delicate components.
  • Strict quality and safety procedures.
Dress Code Requirements

Candidates must follow cleanroom guidelines, including:

  • Clean, lint-free clothing without loose fibers or frayed fabric.
  • Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes (no sandals or clogs).
  • No jewelry, watches, artificial nails, nail polish, or makeup.
  • Clothing must fully cover legs and upper body.
  • Fragrance-free environment.
