As a full-time, temp-to-hire Metal Fabrication Technician, you'll use arc welding techniques to remove gates and excess metal from precision castings, preparing parts for the next stage of production.
Job Duties- Use a torch or rod to remove extra metal from cast parts
- Follow instructions to make clean cuts without damaging the parts
- Get parts ready for the next steps like cutting, grinding, or polishing
- Keep your tools and work area clean and in good condition
- Sort leftover metal for recycling
Pay: $27.38 per hour
Schedule:
Must be open to day, swing, and graveyard shifts
- Training
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:30am – 2:30pm
- Minimum 3 months of experience using arc welding, air arc, or similar metal fabrication tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or foundry environment and wearing required PPE
- Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal work instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
