Grind and blend defect areas on castings to blueprint tolerances;
Inspect castings using micrometers, calipers, ultrasonic testing, and similar dimensional inspection devices; perform fluorescent penetrant inspections;
Complete logs and records; provide work direction and training to junior grinders;
Adhere to plant and department safety rules; safely operate equipment and tools; report safety problems;
Perform other tasks as directed; training provided on the job; relevant courses preferred
