Tooling preparation: accurately prepare tooling dies for operation; assemble/disassemble, position tooling dies; change die inserts as required; add chills and soluble per tech cards; remove and/or clean tooling after operation.;
Mold machine operation: operate moderately complex molding machines using technique cards and established setup procedures; maintain dimensional integrity of product; set up, monitor, and control mold machine functions.;
Keep dies clean during molding operations; remove wax parts from die, inspect for defects, trim; clean wax parts as required.;
Complete logs and records; document modifications to process; meet production and quality standards.;
Safety: adhere to plant and department safety rules; identify and report safety problems; may train less skilled operators; may handle hazardous waste.
