Danish Production

Marsee Foods Inc (Marsee Baking) is seeking a Danish Production Baker to craft high-quality Danish pastries for our wholesale and retail bakery in Portland, OR. In this hands-on role, you'll scale and mix doughs, laminate and sheet pastries, fill and finish products, and monitor bake quality and consistency. You'll follow recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have commercial baking or pastry experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and pride in delivering excellent baked goods to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Produce Danish pastries following established recipes and production schedules
• Scale, mix, laminate, sheet, fill, and finish doughs and pastries
• Monitor product quality, consistency, and appearance throughout production
• Operate and clean bakery equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Accurately label, tray, and prepare products for wholesale and retail orders
• Follow daily production lists and communicate needs or issues to leadership
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and order volumes
• Rotate stock and minimize waste through proper handling and storage
• Assist with general bakery production tasks as needed
