Production Operator – Portland Plant
Danone North America is hiring a Production Operator in Portland, Oregon, where we manufacture frozen yogurt and ice cream. Responsibilities include producing, filling, packaging, and ensuring quality and safety throughout the production process. You will be trained as filler, sanitation and flavoring specialist.
Shift & Compensation- Starting wage: $25.77 per hour
- Monday–Thursday 4×10 shifts
- Day Shift: 5 am‑3:30 pm
- Swing Shift: 3 pm‑1:30 am
- Annual incentive bonus

- Mix ingredients per R&D formulas
- Maintain batch documentation per R&D
- Ensure product placement in correct packaging
- Track and manage packaging supplies to meet order volume
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing for equipment, pipes, tanks and valves
- Coordinate with operators and pasteurizers to manage tank space
- Review CIP data and troubleshoot any non‑conformities
- Verify bulk milk and sugar documentation, tank space, and receive raw ingredients according to procedure
- Operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
