Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additional training in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, materials management, procurement, or a related field
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems, preferably SAGE ERP
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Manage inventory levels to support production and customer demand while preventing excess stock
- Enter and maintain purchase orders for materials and supplies
- Review invoices and accounting documentation for accuracy
- Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within SAGE ERP
- Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities
- Assist with raw material planning and inventory forecasting
- Generate inventory, purchasing, and progress reports
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Train and support employees on inventory control procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure material availability
- Analyze inventory data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy
Physical Capabilities
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Frequent computer use, data entry, and prolonged periods of sitting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
