Production Technician I (Production Operator)
Portland, OR $23.00 - $25.00/hour (DOE) 9 Immediate Openings Shift Options
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (+$1.00/hr Differential)
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (+$2.00/hr Differential)
Overtime opportunities available and may be required based on business needs. Weekend overtime may be necessary as production schedules and operational demands increase. Production Operations
- Prepare, inspect, label, package, and fill chemical drums
- Operate pallet jacks and overhead cranes (training and certification provided)
- Set up, calibrate, and operate production equipment
- Monitor processes and maintain accurate inventory and production records
- Perform routine cleaning and preparation of containers and equipment
Team & Shift Support
- Participate in daily shift handoff and team meetings
- Follow work assignments and established operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals
Safety & Quality
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards at all times
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators and cleanroom attire, for extended periods throughout the workday
- Identify and report safety or quality concerns immediately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support adherence to cleanroom protocols and manufacturing standards
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills and calculator proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability and willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators and cleanroom garments, for extended periods of time
