Die Repair Set-Up

• Pull all correct tooling for press schedules and supply them to the correct press/location
• Remove all used tooling from presses and separate tooling for caustic/storage
• Load used tooling into boil out tanks
• Remove boiled out tooling from caustic tanks, rinse, and dry
• Shot blast all dies from caustic cleaning and transport them into the die repair shop
• Manipulate and control steel weighing 50–75 lbs through pulling, pushing, and lifting
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision tooling
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and setup documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in aluminum extrusion, die shop operations, or industrial manufacturing (preferred)
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and lifting devices (preferred)
• Knowledge of extrusion dies, tooling assembly, and die handling practices (preferred)
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers (preferred)

Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and precision in handling tooling and dies within a manufacturing environment. Proficient in following production schedules and work instructions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
