This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.
** ABOUT THE POSITION
** The International Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Generalist to support the International Distributor Regions. This role will support the growth and expansion of the Columbia Sportswear Company across 93 countries. The role will work with both internal and external marketing teams across the globe with primary responsibilities of ensuring the seamless delivery of global marketing toolkit, driving the go‑to‑market process and project management of on-going team functions.
** WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
*** Responsible for the coordination and communication of marketing toolkits, assets and global direction out to the global distributor teams
* Owns the communication and consolidation of various marketing reports for planning, tracking and recapping for marketing programs and seasonal campaigns
* Is the team subject matter expert and primary point of contact for marketing tools that are used both internally and externally that support project management and communication such as – Air Table, Smarrt Sheet, Stripo, Content Hub, Workfront etc.
* Manages the marketing team GTM calendar dates and gates, ensuring on time delivery and submission of IDR regional needs, considerations and plans
* Manages the IDR tone of voice by tailoring/editing/reworking global comms and information to meet distributor expectations and understanding
* Manages the IDR marketing budget tracker, invoicing, PO requests and accruals, and drives the communication with internal accounting teams
* Responsible for the creation and share out of the IDR Quarterly Newsletters
* In partnership with marketing team and cross functional IDR team, this role will drive the collection of marketing content, insights and KPIs to support the build of external marketing presentations
* Supports in planning and setup of bi-annual sales meeting events
** YOU ARE
*** An outstanding communicator, both written and verbally.
* Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaborate with various types of teams.
** YOU HAVE
*** 2-5 years’ experience in marketing - regional marketing, marketing program management, project management or marketing operation
* Additional experience in digital, retail, events, PR, marketing comm is a plus
* University level education (major in marketing preferred)
* Analytical skills and mindset with a good design eye
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office required - Adobe Create Suite is a plus
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to multitask with high attention to detail
* International/multi-cultural background, ability to speak multiple languages is a plus#LI-JC1#Hybrid
