Tree Planting Help Needed in East Portland! (age 6+) Referral. Dozens of trees (6-10' tall) will be waiting to be planted in their forever homes across the neighborhoods of outer SE Portland -- and your help makes it possible for this event to be a success!

Friends of Trees inspires people to improve the world around them through a simple solution:
Planting Trees. Together. As a tree-planting volunteer, you ll contribute to creating cleaner air and water in your community, as well as improving wildlife habitat, and adding a whole host of other benefits that trees provide!

Let s plant trees together in East Portland! The meeting location is Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 11560 SE Market St, Portland, OR 97216. Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and be assigned a planting crew. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!

• Age: Volunteers must be 6+; under 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
• Under age 18? We request that youth 15 and under volunteer with a parent/guardian. Youth 16 and older can volunteer on their own and will need to hand us a youth waiver form (
