Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest. Live in community with other volunteers while you serve. Take the first step in building your skills, gaining experience, and finding your purpose alongside partner agencies with significant experience in their communities. With a variety of urban and rural placements, each Jesuit Volunteer experience is unique. From preventing evictions to preventing hunger, from academic support to local media, from one‑on‑one relationships to group programs, there is something for everyone.
Guided by our four core values, you can explore how you want to put your gifts to use to serve the world. Be a part of something bigger than yourself as you gather with other volunteers across the region for Orientation and Retreats. Find support from former volunteers and local support people and you navigate your daily life admissions process will help you find the right fit.

Each day will be different depending on your role. You may be traveling all over the community to provide services or spending time at your agency’s office doing intake. You may be outdoors all day or assisting in a classroom. As you get to know our open roles, you can explore what your days will be like.
