Sabin Community Orchard Work Party (all ages) Referral
Learn about fruit tree care, meet awesome people, and support food access in our community.
About the ProgramPortland Fruit Tree Project cares for and harvests fruit trees in the Portland area to increase access to fresh, delicious fruit. Helping us maintain our community orchards keeps them healthy and productive so that we can distribute more fruit to neighbors in need.
About the ProjectJoin us for our monthly work party at the Sabin Community Orchard! At this work party we'll be moving some mulch, weeding, removing debris, and general orchard cleanup. These work parties are a great way to learn about fruit tree care, meet awesome people, and support food access in our community. Join us in caring for this beautiful space! Volunteers can learn about fruit tree and orchard care, permaculture, native plants, and integrated pest management!
- Volunteers of all ages are able to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
