Home Forward is seeking four (4) part-time Emergency Preparedness Outreach Intern to support Home Forward’s emergency preparedness and community safety initiatives by engaging residents through outreach events and workshops, promoting disaster awareness, and collecting feedback. Interns will act as trusted messengers to relay emergency preparedness information to Home Forward communities.
This internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and make meaningful contribution to community safety and emergency preparedness in affordable housing. Interns will leave the program equipped with skills to address real-world challenges and create lasting, positive impacts in their future careers.
This position is scheduled to close on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. We reserve the right to close the posting early should it reach a certain number of applicants. This is a part-time internship at 16 hours per week and compensation will be at $25.96 per hour. The internship is not union represented nor eligible for benefits.
