Job Summary

The Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening CCC’s relationships with volunteers, individual donors, and corporate partners. This position supports the organization’s fundraising campaigns, signature fundraising events, and community events by managing volunteer engagement from recruitment through recognition, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating logistics for key organizational events. This position is a good fit for a development professional who is a self-starter, an innovative thinker, is goal-driven, growth-oriented and has a passion for connecting bikes to those who need it most in Portland.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Management

  • Recruit, steward, and onboard new volunteers
  • Coordinate volunteer scheduling across programs, program events and fundraising events
  • Develop and implement volunteer recognition efforts
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to understand the volunteer needs of the organization
  • Coordinate bi-yearly volunteer appreciation events
  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers, including a monthly volunteer newsletter
    Donor Relations
  • Solicit and steward relationships with individual donors and corporate partners
  • Logging donations and manage timely and accurate donor acknowledgement processes
  • Keeping our CRM platform up to date on all donor details
  • Support the collection of and creation of community-based work stories, and utilize ethical storytelling practices

Development Support

  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns including Year-End Giving
  • Support corporate sponsorship,in-kind asks and individual registration for fundraising events
  • Research and secure other unique fundraising opportunities with the local Portland business community
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable soliciting gifts and making donor presentations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for the mission of the organization and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in fundraising best practices.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in volunteer coordination, donor relations, or nonprofit development
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Preferred, not required

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Basic Bike mechanic knowledge
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs (event materials, supplies)
  • Ability to work outdoors and attend evening/weekend events as needed
  • Ability to travel locally to event and partner sites
