As you partner with the Volunteer Services Manager in recruiting, training and scheduling hospital volunteers, you make a difference in the lives of those we touch. ResponsibilitiesThe Coordinator of Hospital Volunteers works in cooperation with the Volunteer Services Manager in recruiting, training, scheduling and overseeing volunteers and in promoting and enhancing the quality of services provided by the Volunteer Services Department. The Coordinator interfaces with volunteers, hospital staff, the volunteer manager, volunteer board and the general community.
QualificationsEducation:
BA in Education, Social Services, Communication, Human Resources or related fields or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
Experience in volunteer management or related field preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of the best practices of volunteer management. Strong teaching and communication skills-both oral and written. Ability to relate to and oversee volunteers. Computer skills using Word and Excel. Proficiency with data base systems, (i.e. Volgistics).

Pay RangeUSD $28.47 - USD $40.71 /Hr.
