Community Service Liaison

The Community Service Liaison serves as a vital bridge between clients, community partners, and volunteer opportunities throughout the Portland metropolitan area. In this dynamic role, you will lead and inspire client volunteer teams while developing meaningful partnerships that create pathways for growth, engagement, and success for individuals participating in CCC's outpatient treatment and housing programs.

As a trusted mentor and advocate, the Liaison supports clients through key stages of their journey, including intake, orientation, assessment, and ongoing program participation. This position combines hands‑on leadership with relationship building, providing coaching, guidance, and support that helps clients develop confidence, skills, and community connections.

Working closely with Community Volunteer Corps (CVC) staff and partner organizations, the Liaison coordinates impactful service projects, supervises volunteer activities, and ensures high-quality outcomes for both clients and community partners. Through regular communication, performance feedback, and continuous program evaluation, the Liaison helps strengthen partnerships, enhance participant experiences, and maximize the positive impact of volunteer service across the community.

Location: Employment Access Center - 2 NW 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97209

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Saturdays & Sundays Off)

Compensation: $22.73/hr - $30.15/hr. Final comp will be determined based on relevant experience, education, credentials/licensure, and internal equity.
External candidates:
Offer max $26.37/hr per our Union contract.

• High school diploma or equivalent
  . College degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals in recovery.
• Community Volunteer Corp program graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other standard computer programs.
• Must be able to work individually or with a group.
• Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to perform duties and assigned tasks.
• Must generally have the ability to regularly bend and turn repetitively, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift objects up to 25 pounds and climb stairs, with reasonable or no accommodation.
• Must possess a current driver’s license, access to a vehicle, qualify as an Acceptable Driver as designated in Central City Concern’s Fleet Safety policy.
