Assistant Nurse Manager – Emergency Services
Position: 1.0 FTE full time, weekdays and weekends, evening shift.
Eligible for sign‑on bonus of US $8,000 for eligible external hires meeting required qualifications.
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager. The ANM utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift, supporting planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of unit services. The ANM manages clinical and non‑clinical caregivers and provides performance input to the director/manager. Duties include compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, implementation and monitoring of policies, processes, and clinical priorities, coaching, mentoring, and collaboration to deliver quality health care.

Required Qualifications- Graduate from School of Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.

Pay Range: US $60.35 – 95.27 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
