the float pool registered nurse (rn) provides flexible, high-quality nursing care across multiple skilled nursing and post-acute care communities. This role supports clinical teams where needs are greatest and is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, adaptability, and building strong working relationships across different care settings.

• provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with rn scope of practice.
• conduct resident assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• monitor resident condition and respond to changes appropriately.
• collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• supervise and support lpns, cmas, and cnas as assigned.
• ensure accurate, timely documentation per regulatory and facility standards.
• promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
• other duties as assigned.

• registered nurse (rn) licensure in the state of practice
• at least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred.
• strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care.
• excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• proficiency in electronic health records (ehr) and basic computer skills.
• critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, standing, and assisting residents with mobility.
• must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
