Must have experience and familiarity with Cardiovascular implantable electronic devices!!
BLS
BSN or higher
RN license for OR and WA
3 years nursing experience with emphasis on adult cardiovascular patient care

• Working with the multi-disciplinary team in delivering outpatient care to patients with CIEDs
• Conduct interviews with patient, family, and other health care agencies to obtain medical records and history to assess the plan of care regarding cardiac monitoring devices
• Independently perform CIED interrogation in the outpatient setting
• Problem solve device function, settings, arrhythmia episodes, and interventions
• Collaborate with EP team and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality CIED and medical follow up care
• Analyze clinical data and compose written CIED management summaries, clinic visit notes, and letters
• Triage patient clinical concerns, symptoms, or other relevant data related to cardiac device care
• Communicate and problem solve with multidisciplinary team to address complex patient care issues and CIED function
• Educate patient and family regarding disease management and device management follow up
• Review patient schedules to ensure efficiency in clinical workflows and resolve potential conflicts
• Ensure resources are available to support patient care and procedures in the outpatient setting
• Educate patient and family on signs and symptoms requiring follow up
• Collaborate with medical faculty, nursing staff, and other health care agencies to meet patient and family needs
• Assist with data collection and analysis to support Device Clinic charting, registries, process improvement, and quality initiatives
• Assist with managing device alerts, advisories, recalls in partnership with multidisciplinary team and vendors
