Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Oregon

Start Date: April 6, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block scheduling with rotating weekend standby (Saturday 0600–Monday 0600, once per month). On-call required for cardiac emergencies. Patient ratio 1:1.

Highlights:

• Work in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with comprehensive cardiovascular services
• Scrub and circulator experience in CVOR preferred, handling advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, LVAD, valve replacements, and transplant surgeries
• Epic charting system utilized across the facility
• May float to multiple regional facilities based on unit needs and skill sets
• Free parking provided on-site
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active Oregon RN license (may submit with pending)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Scrub and circulator experience in CVOR setting
• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, valve replacements, and transplant surgeries
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius or accept local rate
• Willingness to float to multiple regional facilities as needed
