Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Evergreen is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated care team. The CNA will provide direct, hands‑on care to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest level of comfort and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, team‑oriented environment where you can make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly residents.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
- Assist with repositioning and transferring residents to ensure their comfort and prevent complications.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring that rooms, common areas, and equipment are properly sanitized.
- Assist residents with incontinence care and other hygiene needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Assist with feeding residents and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols at all times.
- Certification: Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Oregon.
- Experience: Prior experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient with residents.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of infection control procedures and safety practices.
- Ability to lift and move residents (with assistance as needed).
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to perform job tasks.
- May require handling occasional heavy lifting.
- Basic Life Support: 1 year (Preferred)
- BLS Certification: Required
Job Type: PRN/Weekends, some Full‑time
