Position: Full-time Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient

At Cedar Hills Hospital, the Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care through sound professional judgment and clinical expertise. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of therapeutic interventions, working in close collaboration with attending physicians and a multidisciplinary treatment team. This role requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to integrated, patient-centered care.

Positions

We have two contracted roles:

  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – full‑time or part‑time
  • Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner – part‑time

Both roles involve coverage for weekends, provider PTO, and designated holidays such as New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and UHS-assigned floater holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unit‑based rounds and meet with all patients within the assigned units (PMHNP)

• Provide facility‑wide support for patients requiring specialized medical care (Internal Medicine NP)

Qualifications
  • Current R.N. license in the State of Oregon
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program
  • Current valid NP certification and license in the State of Oregon
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as an R.N. in a psychiatric health care facility (preferred)
