Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Float to various units within the scope of competence to meet facility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor neonatal patients' conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and clinical protocols.
- Current Oregon State Nursing License or proof of license application/fingerprints.
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric or neonatal experience.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Ability to float within scope across various pediatric units.
- Knowledge of Epic electronic charting system.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
