Description
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse who reports to the unit director/manager and manages clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of unit services, leads staff performance review, and ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards while coaching and mentoring caregivers.

Work ScheduleFull‑time, 1.0 FTE, day shift. Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts with rotating on‑call and weekend coverage.
Compensation & BenefitsSign‑on bonus up to $8,000 for eligible external candidates (subject to conditions).
Base pay range $60.35–$95.27 per hour with potential shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, bonuses, and other incentive opportunities.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; a 401(k) retirement program with matching; paid time off, paid parental leave, holiday schedule; tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year; parking; transit pass; and caregiver assistance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operations of 27 operating rooms.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
- Implement and maintain best practices in surgical procedures and patient safety.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurse license in Oregon upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute‑care hospital.
- Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.
