East Portland Surgery Center is looking for a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator to join the team!

East Portland Surgery Center is one of Portland’s leading multi-specialty surgery centers, performing cases in pain management, GI, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT & Spine. Our facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

The Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator is responsible for all patient care in the procedure room and works with the physician to deliver successful procedures and outcomes.

  • Manage procedure room(s) to ensure they are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, and monitoring.
  • Document care of patients in accordance with policy, procedure, and care guidelines.
  • Support and assist the physician with patient care throughout the procedure.

Monday‑Friday daytime work schedule. No call required. No nights, no weekends, no holiday work hours.

Required Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing
  • Current Oregon License as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accreditation by AHA required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room RN
  • Experience with basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation (preferred)
  • Experience with medical outpatient procedures (desired)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
  • Knowledge of hospital/ASC policies and procedures specific to the procedure room
  • Professional behavior and conduct in all interactions with patients, physicians, and team members
  • Efficient use of resources
  • Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing
