Job Overview

Charge RN – Operating Room (0.9 FTE, Night Shift) at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR.

• Lead nursing care in a multi‑room operating room department.
• Provide specialized peri‑operative nursing care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering clinical excellence and teamwork.
• Respond to emergencies, perform resuscitation, and administer medications as needed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate charting in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in shift on‑call coverage and standby duties as required.

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Oregon Registered Nurse license (or RN license in the state of hire).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum one year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience in surgical or peri‑operative nursing preferred.

Night shift with weekends every other weekend and/or as needed; flexible on‑call availability.

Base pay range: $60.42 – $81.43 per hour. Additional compensation may be available (shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities).
