Job Description

CNA - Clinical Decision Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. 0.6 FTE, night shift (7pm‑7:30am), 3 12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under supervision of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists an RN in comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties under the RN’s direction.

• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests

• Other duties as assigned

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification license upon hire
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire

• Experience in hospital or long‑term care setting
