Job Title: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Otolaryngology – Portland, OR

Quick Facts:

  • Location: Portland, OR (9205 Southwest Barnes Road, Portland, OR 97225)
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • End Date: 02/26/2027
  • Schedule: Clinic-only outpatient coverage, approximately 4 days/week (2.5-3 days ENT, ½-1 day Urology)
  • Shift Times: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (includes admin, patient visits, lunch, and admin time)
  • Hours/Week: 36-40 hours/week
  • Employment Type: Locum, Part-time depending on schedule needs
  • Certifications & Licenses: Active Oregon license, DEA, BLS;
    Board Certified or truly BE in applicable field
  • Experience: ENT experience preferred; urology experience a plus; wound assessment and suture removal experience desirable

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct post-op and routine follow-up visits for ENT and urology patients
  • Perform wound assessments and suture removal
  • Assist with evaluation of tonsil, adenoid, and otitis media cases
  • Utilize flexible endoscopy techniques (preferred but not required)
  • Manage nasal cautery and foreign body removal procedures (preferred)
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver excellent patient care
What You Need:
  • Active Oregon state medical license and DEA
  • BLS certification
  • 1+ years of experience in ENT; urology experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in wound care, endoscopy, and office diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
About the Assignment:
This outpatient clinic-based position involves managing post-operative and routine ENT and urology patients, with some flexibility for urology-related visits. The provider will be part of a dedicated team supporting patient care at a leading facility in Portland, Oregon. The schedule is designed to allow for a balanced work and personal life, with interviews held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesdays between 1-2 pm PST.
