Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse LPN in Portland Metro Rates

Overview

Kids Care Home Health is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in the Portland Metro to provide private duty nursing services for children. The position offers sign‑on bonuses, flexible scheduling, PTO, other benefits, and a pay range of $34-$37 per hour.

• Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in the home according to the active plan of care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Document timely, clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes in accordance with the plan of care.
• Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient’s condition.
• Provide and document patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current State Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to the office and patient homes.

• One year of home health experience.
• One year of pediatric experience.

• Bending, reaching, standing, stooping, sitting, twisting, talking, and hearing.
• Push or pull 50 pounds, support 50 pounds of weight, lift 50 pounds (and assist with weights greater than 100 pounds).
• Carry equipment and supplies.
• See information up to 24 inches away.
