Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary oncology practice at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
This specialized outpatient role involves diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with cancer across various stages of care. The Oncology Advanced Practice Provider will work in a disease‑specific care team model, collaborating with Medical Oncologists, Registered Nurses, Patient Navigators, Researchers, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Integrative Medicine, Palliative Care, Clinical Pharmacy, and other allied health professionals to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered oncology care.
Position Highlights- Outpatient position, full‑time (1.0 FTE)
- Four 10‑hour weekdays; open to five 8‑hour workdays. No nights, weekends, or call
- Collaborative, team‑based practice within a comprehensive cancer program
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate (NP or PA‑C)
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred; or experienced acute care APP with previous RN oncology experience
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, evidence‑based cancer care
- Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or equivalent for Physician Associate required within 12 months of hire
