We're looking for Cardiac Cath Lab RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Portland, OR. The right RN should have 1‑2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or as treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs).

Cath Lab Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They should be able to lift 20 pounds easily, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients. The fast‑paced environment requires good stress‑coping skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements
ACLS, BLS, 2 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
