VIC the PICC is a comprehensive Vascular Access Company. We provide PICC and Midline insertions, Peripheral Venous Access as well as Continuing Education, Precepting and Consulting for Hospitals, Long-Term Care and other Healthcare Facilities.
VIC the PICC offers the following services 24/7/365:

- ECG Guidance Technology for PICC Confirmation
- Peripheral IV Insertions
- Declotting
- Line Removal
- Port Access
- 24/7/365 Triage Nursing Services
As a PICC Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. If you are looking for a change and tired of 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality care, this would be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a VIC the PICC Vascular Access Consultant RN you will:
- Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
- Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
- Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICCs, etc.
- Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD’s.
Key Responsibilities as a Visiting RN
- Be willing to travel to patient visits.
- Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
- On-call requirements are: two- three days per week, including weekends and participate in the holiday rotation.
PICC RN
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in acute care preferred.
- Experience in PICC placements with ultrasound.
- Have and maintain current CPR certification.
- Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Ability to work independently.
- Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
- Must possess a smart phone.
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites.
- Must LOVE Vascular Access.

- Flexibility:
Employees have the flexibility to make their own schedules; when you are on call for VTP you will receive cases based on your availability and region. - Competitive Pay: $50 - $70/ Hour.
