Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Hematology/Oncology)
Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking an advanced practice provider to provide longitudinal hematology and oncology care across inpatient and outpatient settings in a hybrid role at Providence Franz Clinic and Providence Portland Medical Center.
In the outpatient setting, the provider will deliver specialized patient care, performing comprehensive assessments, clinical management, patient education and support, and management of complex treatment plans. In the inpatient setting, coverage focuses on hematology, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and oncology. Collaboration with Hematologists, Medical Oncologists, and an experienced supportive care team is essential.
Position Highlights- Hybrid role: 2 days inpatient, 2 days outpatient per week
- Full‑time, 1.0 FTE
- 4 ten‑hour weekdays; no nights, weekends, or call
- Inpatient coverage specific to hematology, BMT, and oncology populations
- Collaborative, team‑based practice within a comprehensive cancer program
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA‑C)
- Minimum of 2 years of Hematology/Oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, evidence‑based cancer care
- Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or equivalent for Physician Assistant required within 12 months of hire
