LPN
- Long Term Care at Providence Child Center

This posting represents a per diem/on‑call, day shift position. Hours offered are 7am-7:30pm including weekends.

Our Long‑Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. Each CNA cares for approximately 7 residents on day shift, and 11 on night shift. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities.

Some of our residents require long‑term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care in a nurturing environment.

Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. We’re also proud of our interdisciplinary approach, working closely with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work to provide holistic care.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses.
  • Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • National Provider BLS
    - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year LPN Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range

$31.26 - $47.81.
