DescriptionNurse Educator
- Professional Development Specialist, Providence Office Park in Portland, Oregon. This is a full time, day shift, exempt position, offering flexible scheduling options. Typical work schedule is Monday‑Friday, day shift. This is NOT a virtual (remote) position. $8,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The RN Coordinator
- Clinical Educator reports to the Regional Manager of Clinical Orientation and Development. The position is accountable for the operation of Providence Regional Nursing Orientation (PRNO) and agency staff orientation. This includes evaluation, coordination and administration of nursing orientation and new hire competency assessment. This role also contributes to the regional clinical education effort by authoring, implementing, and evaluating clinical education and competency assessment activities on a regional basis and across the care continuum.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Master's Degree in Master Program enrollment.
- Upon hire:
Oregon Registered Nurse License. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. - 3 years Experience in nursing education or leadership.
- 5 years Experience in acute care nursing.
- Nursing.
Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
