Schedule:
Weekends required every other weekend.
Assignment Details:
Daily unit census: approximately 20.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience caring for higher-acuity IMCU/step-down patients (not telemetry-only).
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care.
- Management of critical-care/titrated drips and infusions.
- Experience with complex cardiac and respiratory patients.
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. - Experience with Epic EHR.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients stepping down from critical care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias based on patient assessment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- References required covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Up to 6 days of requested time off may be permitted.
