Neonatal Intensive Care Transport Nurse
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with flight and/or mobile transfer experience to join our neonatal intensive care transport team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting neonates and pediatric patients across Oregon and SW Washington via ground, air, or rotor transportation, guided by physicians.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient transports utilizing flight, rotor, or ground transfer methods.
- Operate within pediatric and neonatal ICU protocols, ensuring safe patient handling.
- Complete all pre-transport documentation and comply with agency and facility policies.
- Participate in flight training and orientation, including vendor-specific certification requirements.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, RTs, and transport team members to ensure smooth patient transfers.
- Maintain compliance with licensing, background checks, and ongoing credentialing requirements.
- Valid Oregon State RN license or proof of license application with fingerprinting.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a pediatric or ICU setting.
- Demonstrated experience in flight and/or mobile patient transfers.
- Epic electronic health record system knowledge required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required flight training certifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Gain specialized experience in neonatal and pediatric transport operations.
