Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a compassionate Oncology RN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to oncology patients. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive assessments, administer chemotherapy and related therapies, manage side effects, and educate patients and families throughout the treatment journey. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes while ensuring safety and compliance with protocols. - Provide direct oncology nursing care, including assessments, chemo administration, and symptom management
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Monitor treatment responses, manage side effects, and escalate changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, medications, and home care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with all clinical protocols and safety standards
- Support patients emotionally through complex treatments and end-of-life care discussions
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous drugs and chemotherapy agents
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practices
