As a PMHNP on our Intensive Case Management Team, you'll care for individuals experiencing serious mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, and complex medical needs. Working within an integrated, multidisciplinary model, you'll collaborate alongside therapists, case managers, primary care providers, addiction specialists, and peers to deliver compassionate, trauma-informed care that meets clients where they are.
What You'll Do- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment
- Prescribe buprenorphine, Vivitrol, Naltrexone, Acamprosate, and other medications supporting recovery
- Deliver brief psychotherapy and motivational interviewing interventions
- Respond to psychiatric crises and provide suicide risk assessment and intervention
- Partner closely with behavioral health, primary care, and substance use treatment teams
- Help shape individualized treatment plans for some of Portland's most vulnerable community members

Old Town Recovery Center Recovery Center provides treatment for acute and chronic health concerns/primary care, mental health support, care for substance use disorders and an on-site pharmacy. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) works collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing outpatient SUDS and Mental Health services.

Compensation$164,000-$213,000/annually
* Range varies based on professional experience and licensure/certifications
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and Master’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from State Board of Nursing approved schools of nursing.
- Current license to practice nursing in Oregon and certified as a PMHNP by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and National certification.
- Must have full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number.
- Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
- Current BLS certification required prior to start.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must meet applicable training requirements for Buprenorphine prescribing.
- Must generally have the ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs with reasonable or no accommodation.
