Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN
- Location:
Various sites including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside. This travel position requires a Level III NICU RN to provide specialized care for neonates, with float responsibilities between units based on needs. The role involves on-call duties, weekend shifts, and the ability to adapt to different unit requirements.
- Certifications:
BLS, NRN (Neonatal Resuscitation Nurse) certification required; minimum 1 year of NICU Level III experience; valid state licenses, including compact licenses if applicable. - Schedule:
Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Valid state license (compact license accepted), BLS certification, NRN certification, at least 1 year NICU Level III experience, minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. - Additional Information:
Candidates must have transportation, as travel between sites may be required. Flexibility to float to other units within the division is expected. Previous experience with electronic charting in Epic is required. The job involves caring for neonates typically under 28 weeks, with responsibilities including ventilator management, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
