Portland, OR, United States - Work setting: hospital-based Cath Lab
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for Cath Lab patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Conduct assessments, develop and execute care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses during interventional procedures
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and readiness of equipment and supplies for cath lab procedures
- Communicate clearly with physicians, other members of the interventional team, and patients’ families; document care accurately
- Demonstrate critical thinking and independent judgment in fast-paced procedural environments and respond to changes in patient condition
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon
- Cath lab nursing experience preferred; strong foundation in acute care nursing
- Current BLS certification; ACLS as appropriate for Cath Lab roles
- ADN or higher degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Ability to work in a Cath Lab environment with the ability to manage patients during interventional procedures
- Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule and travel assignment requirements
